What you’ll win on the 11th Morning of Silence

The XDMAN and BANISH suppressors are going to hook you up with a, range-ready AR-15 setup. These are some of my favorite upgrades for taking a plain Jane out of the box AR-15 to something that ready for the range and more. Each component upgrades a different point on the platform: how fast you can shoot the rifle, how you aim it, how you see in low light, and how it sounds when it goes off.

  • Atrius Forced Reset Selector — drop-in 3-position selector for mil-spec AR-15 lowers (SAFE / SEMI / FULL-SEMI). MSRP $199.
  • Primary Arms SLx® 3X MicroPrism Scope — Red Illuminated ACSS® Raptor 5.56/.308 Reticle (Yard, FDE). MSRP $349.99.
  • Streamlight ProTac® 2.0 Rail Mount — 2,000-lumen USB-C-rechargeable weapon light. Typical retail mid-$200s.
  • BANISH 556 — full-auto-rated 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem rifle suppressor with Inconel core and stainless blast chamber. MSRP $1,129. Available through Silencer Central directly to your door.

Component 1: Atrius Forced Reset Selector

Atrius Forced Reset Selector for AR-15 in 4140 steel
Atrius Forced Reset Selector, 4140 heat-treated steel. Image: Atrius.
The Atrius Forced Reset Selector (FRS), often referred to in the FRT community simply as the Atrius forced reset trigger, is a product from Atrius Development Group, a firearms accessory company specializing in innovative AR-15 components. Unlike traditional drop-in FRTs that replace your entire trigger group, the Atrius is a robust three-position safety selector (SAFE, standard SEMI, and SUPER-SEMI/FULL-SEMI) that installs in place of your factory safety lever on mil-spec AR-15 fire control groups, meaning no trigger swap or major gunsmithing required in most cases. In the third “super-semi” position, its mechanically leveraged cam design physically forces the trigger forward after each shot, dramatically shortening reset time and enabling a dramatically higher semi-automatic rate of fire while remaining fully legal and ATF-compliant. It has become one of the most popular FRT-style devices sold today because it’s one of the reliability and one of the most affordable selector-based options on the market. The Atrius design preserves your existing trigger’s feel and reliability in normal semi mode and offers easy on-the-fly switching between normal and rapid-fire modes, delivering consistent performance with minimal tuning for a wide range of mil-spec and aftermarket triggers. The XDMAN recommends the Atrius FRS because it makes rapid semi-auto shooting accessible, fun, and hassle-free for everyday AR owners.

Component 2: Primary Arms SLx® 3X MicroPrism with ACSS® Raptor 5.56/.308 Reticle (FDE)

Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism FDE with ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 reticle
Primary Arms SLx® 3X MicroPrism in FDE with the ACSS® Raptor 5.56/.308 reticle. Image: Primary Arms.
The Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism with the ACSS Raptor reticle is a compact, lightweight prism optic that delivers 3x fixed magnification in an ultra-small tough as nails package measuring just 2.95 inches long and weighing under 8 ounces. Designed as a bridge between red-dot speed and magnified precision, it uses Primary Arms’ patented Advanced Combined Sighting System (ACSS) Raptor reticle. Etched directly into the prism for reliability even when the illumination is off or if the batteries die. Optimized specifically for the MicroPrism platform, the Raptor features a bright illuminated outer horseshoe for lightning-fast close-quarters acquisition, a crisp center chevron for pinpoint accuracy, and built-in auto-ranging ballistic holdovers calibrated for 5.56/.308 out to 600 yards in 100-yard increments, plus integrated 5-mph and 10-mph crosswind holds. It runs on a single CR2032 battery with AutoLive motion-sensing technology for up to 29,000 hours of runtime on medium brightness. offering 13 illumination settings (red), a wide 38-foot field of view at 100 yards, and 2.7 inches of eye relief. Out of the box, the optic ships with a ruggedized mini-prism mount system that provides eight different height and configuration options which including absolute co-witness and lower 1/3 co-witness—ensuring drop-in compatibility with almost any AR-platform rifle or even Trijicon Mini-ACOG footprint mounts.
The SLx 3X MicroPrism earned a silver-tier rating from the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) following extensive field testing and was named the 2022 Industry Choice Awards (ICA) Red Dot of the Year, cementing its reputation as one of the best-value optics in its class. Reviewers consistently praise it as an “under-rated” performer that punches well above its price point, offering ACOG-like durability and versatility at a fraction of the cost while remaining fast and intuitive for everything from CQB to medium-range engagements. For shooters with astigmatism, the etched reticle combined with an adjustable diopter makes it a game-changer: unlike holographic or reflex sights that often produce starburst, blur, or double images, the prism design and etched pattern deliver a consistently sharp, crisp sight picture regardless of illumination level or the severity of the user’s astigmatism. With its lifetime warranty, robust construction, and thoughtful features like the versatile multi-height mount system, the SLx 3X MicroPrism with ACSS Raptor has become a favorite among serious rifle owners who want maximum capability in a minimal package.

Component 3: Streamlight ProTac® 2.0 Rail Mount

Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount weapon light, 2000 lumens, USB-C rechargeable
Streamlight ProTac® 2.0 Rail Mount — 2,000 lumens, USB-C rechargeable. Image: Streamlight.
The Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount is a compact, high-performance weapon-mounted light designed specifically for rifles, carbines, and submachine guns. Built from 6000-series machined aircraft aluminum with a Type II MIL-Spec anodized finish, it delivers an impressive 2,000 lumens on high, perfect for close-to-medium range identification without excessive bloom. It runs on Streamlight’s proprietary SL-B50 protected Li-Ion USB-rechargeable battery pack (4,900 mAh), offering 2.5 hours on high, 11 hours on low, and 4.5 hours on strobe, all while maintaining IP67 dust-tight and waterproof ratings (to 1 meter for 30 minutes) and surviving 2-meter impacts. The light measures just 6.3 inches long and weighs 9.06 ounces with battery installed, making it a rugged, low-profile addition to any MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail-equipped long gun. TEN-TAP programming lets users choose between three modes—high/strobe (factory default), high only, or low/high, via a simple 10-tap sequence on the tail switch.
Setting up and employing the ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount is straightforward and intuitive for most AR-platform or similar rifles. The included quick-detach Picatinny rail clamp secures in seconds by slipping over the rail and tightening the thumb wheel; an M-LOK adapter swaps in with two screws for modern handguards. Battery installation requires orienting the SL-B50 correctly before threading on the tail cap, after which the light is ready for use. For operation, the tactical tail cap provides momentary activation with a light press or constant-on by clicking firmly, while the included straight momentary pressure switch plugs directly into a port on the tail cap—allowing both switches to function simultaneously without removal. Users typically mount the pressure pad to the fore-end with the provided double-sided tape, zip ties, or retaining clips for thumb or finger access during a two-handed grip, keeping the trigger finger indexed safely outside the guard. Charging is hassle-free: the USB-C port on the battery allows recharging inside the light (slide down the access ring) or outside, with LED indicators showing red for charging and green when complete (about 6 hours).
The ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount kit includes the light body with integrated tail cap switch, the SL-B50 rechargeable battery, USB-C charging cord, remote pressure switch with mounting hardware (tape, zip ties, and clips), and the Picatinny rail mount. Basically everything needed for immediate deployment right out of the box. Reviewers consistently praise it as a strong value in the $140–$180 range, calling it a “lumen monster” with excellent spill for room-clearing and home-defense applications, reliable durability, and the convenience of on-weapon charging that eliminates the need to remove the light or battery. Overall consensus is that it’s a solid, no-frills weapon light that punches well above its price, being rugged enough for duty or range use, easy to program and maintain, and backed by Streamlight’s limited lifetime warranty. For shooters seeking a bright, rechargeable rail-mounted solution without breaking the bank, it earns high marks as a dependable workhorse.

Component 4: BANISH 556 Suppressor

BANISH 556
BANISH 556 full auto rated 556 NATO 223 Rem rifle suppressor
The Banish 556 is a dedicated hard-use suppressor from Banish Suppressors, available through Silencer Central directly to your door. Engineered specifically for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington rifles. Compact and purpose-built for semi-auto platform firearms, it measures just 6.3 inches long with a 1.65-inch diameter and weighs only 15.6 ounces. The BANISH 556 is a striking example of balancing between portability and performance. It delivers strong sound suppression, often averaging 132.4 dB on a 16-inch barrel and 137 dB on a 10.5-inch barrel. Designed to incorporate controlled-flow technology to minimize back pressure, reduce felt recoil, and mitigate gas blowback for a more comfortable shooting experience. Rated for full-auto fire with no barrel-length restrictions, the Banish 556 is optimized for sustained high-volume shooting, making it equally at home on duty rifles, SBRs, or civilian AR-15s where reliability under heat and rapid fire is essential. Finished in durable black and backed by a lifetime warranty, it represents a no-compromise option for shooters who want a dedicated 5.56 can that performs without excessive length or weight.
Out of the box, the Banish 556 ships with a 1/2×28 direct-thread HUB mount pre-installed, allowing immediate compatibility with the vast majority of threaded 5.56 barrels. What sets it apart, is its use of the suppressor industry’s standard HUB mount system (1.375×24 TPI) at the rear interface. This means owners can easily swap the included direct-thread adapter for any compatible HUB-pattern quick-detach system, flash hider, muzzle brake, or third-party accessory without needing proprietary parts or gunsmithing. The modular design gives users maximum flexibility, whether they prefer simple direct-thread simplicity for a dedicated rifle or want to run a popular QD mount for swapping between hosts all while maintaining a secure, repeatable lock-up every time.
Construction is where the Banish 556 truly shines in terms of toughness. It features a fully additive-manufactured (3D-printed) Inconel core seamlessly welded to a machined stainless-steel blast chamber, a hybrid approach that maximizes baffle count, internal volume, and gas management while delivering extreme heat and pressure resistance. Inconel’s high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance make the core virtually indestructible under aggressive firing schedules, including prolonged full-auto strings, and the stainless blast chamber handles the initial high-pressure gas without erosion or cracking. This rugged build, combined with the suppressor’s compact profile and thoughtful venting, ensures it holds up to the demands of military, law-enforcement, and serious recreational use without shifting point of impact or losing performance over time. For shooters seeking a tough, future-proof 5.56 suppressor that’s easy to mount and versatile, the Banish 556 checks every box.

The XDman’s: curating gear that works together as one battle-ready system

My goal was to curate and giveaway some essential upgrades that will transform any stock plane Jane AR-15 into a “To Hell and Back” battle ready system. Where each item works together giving the winner a “kitted” gun that provides real advantages, not just gimmicks.

  • The selector sets the cadence. The Atrius FRS gives a trained shooter a third position to drive faster, cleaner strings without changing fire control groups.
  • The optic sets the precision. The SLx 3X MicroPrism puts an etched ACSS Raptor reticle on the rail with usable holds out to ranges where a red dot is guessing.
  • The light sets the time-of-day. 2,000 lumens of USB-C-rechargeable Streamlight on a Picatinny rail (or M-LOK with the System mount) means the rifle is honest at 0300 the same way it’s honest at noon.
  • The suppressor sets the sound. The BANISH 556 takes the 5.56 platform from painful to tractable — a 132.4 dB average on a 16-inch carbine puts it in shouting-distance hearing-safe territory, and the low-back-pressure design keeps gas off the shooter.

Trigger / sight / light / can — that’s the kit. Run it on a rifle you already own, or use the prize package to anchor a new build.

NFA and the regulatory picture — in plain English

The suppressor side of the package goes through the federal NFA process: ATF eForm 4, fingerprint card, photo, signed Form 4473, FFL transfer to the dealer (Silencer Central), and an approval window currently running 30–90 days. The $200 NFA federal tax was eliminated on January 1, 2026 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The form still gets filed; the tax stamp no longer comes with a price tag.

Silencer Central makes the legal side of suppressor ownership simple: they handle the eForm 4 and ship the suppressor directly to your door once approved. The non-NFA components — Atrius FRS, Primary Arms scope, Streamlight light — ship as soon as the winner is verified, on the standard schedule.

The Atrius Forced Reset Selector is positioned by Atrius as a selector, not an FRT. State-by-state rules vary, and Atrius restricts shipping to a defined list of states. The 11th Morning of Silence eligibility (below) is set to match the strictest of the four prizes’ ship-to rules.

Eligibility, entry window, and how to enter

The 11th Morning of Silence is open Monday, April 27, 2026, from 6:00 AM CT to 11:00 PM CT. One entry per person.

You must be 21 years of age or older and a U.S. resident. Because Day 11 includes the Atrius FRS — which the manufacturer cannot ship to a longer list of states than the suppressor-only days — residents of the following states and territories are not eligible to participate or win on Day 11:

Excluded for Day 11: California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, U.S. territories, and international entries.

This list is broader than the standard 100 Days of Silence eligibility list because the Atrius FRS adds CT, MD, MN, NV, OR, and WA to the suppressor-only restrictions.

All giveaways require a separate entry. Subscribing once does not enter you in every day — each morning and each afternoon needs its own visit and entry. The winner is posted to the Winners Page and emailed the following day. Full Official Rules.

100 Days of Silence: Morning — Day 11 of 100

About the prize provider — James Nicholas (The XDMAN)

Day 11’s morning prizes are provided by James Nicholas, who writes as The XDMAN and is the author of record on PopularSuppressors.com. James writes the daily 100 Days of Silence pieces, photographs gear at the range, and has been working in the firearms-media corner of the industry for years. He picked the four components in this kit to mirror how a thoughtful AR-15 owner actually upgrades a rifle — one subsystem at a time, with parts that earn their rail space.

FAQ

What does the 11th Morning of Silence giveaway include?

One winner takes all four prizes: the Atrius Forced Reset Selector ($199), the Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism FDE with ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 reticle ($349.99), a Streamlight ProTac 2.0 Rail Mount weapon light (typical retail mid-$200s), and a BANISH 556 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem rifle suppressor ($1,129). Approximate combined retail value: over $1,800.

When does Day 11 close?

Entry opens Monday, April 27, 2026 at 6:00 AM Central Time and closes at 11:00 PM Central Time the same day. Each daily giveaway requires a separate entry.

Who is eligible to enter?

U.S. residents 21 years of age or older, except residents of California, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, or any U.S. territory. International entries are not eligible. Day 11’s exclusion list is broader than the standard 100 Days of Silence list because of Atrius Forced Reset Selector ship-to restrictions.

How is the winner notified?

The winner is posted to the PopularSuppressors.com Winners Page and emailed the following day from the campaign winner mailbox.

How long until the suppressor arrives?

The BANISH 556 ships through Silencer Central’s normal NFA process. After ATF eForm 4 approval — currently 30–90 days — Silencer Central ships the suppressor directly to the winner’s door. The $200 NFA federal tax was eliminated on January 1, 2026, under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

How long until the non-NFA prizes arrive?

The Atrius FRS, Primary Arms SLx 3X MicroPrism, and Streamlight ProTac 2.0 are not NFA-regulated. They ship to the winner on the standard schedule once eligibility is verified.

Is the Atrius Forced Reset Selector legal in my state?

Atrius positions the FRS as a selector, not a forced-reset trigger, but state and local laws still vary. Atrius restricts shipping to U.S. residents outside CA, CT, DE, FL, HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NV, NY, OR, RI, WA, DC, U.S. territories, and international addresses. Atrius’s own disclaimer notes the company does not guarantee local legality. Confirm legality with your own counsel and your state and local authorities before entering.

Will the BANISH 556 fit my AR-15?

The BANISH 556 ships with a 1/2×28 direct-thread mount and is built around the industry-standard HUB mount, so it will mount to most threaded AR-15 5.56 / .223 muzzles. Pinned-and-welded muzzle devices on short barrels need to be addressed before the suppressor can mount.

Does the SLx 3X MicroPrism need a special mount?

It uses the industry-standard mini prism mount footprint — the same family as the Trijicon Mini-ACOG and Primary Arms’ own MicroPrism mounts. A range of mounting heights is available depending on rail height and shooter preference is included with the optic.

How does the Streamlight ProTac 2.0 charge?

The included SL-B50 protected Li-Ion battery pack charges via USB-C. Streamlight designed the system so the battery can charge in the light without removing the light from the rifle — just plug a USB-C cord into the battery cap.

Is this a paid sponsorship?

Yes. Silencer Central’s 100 Days of Silence is a paid sponsorship between Brand Avalanche Media and Silencer Central. Day 11’s morning prizes are provided by James Nicholas (The XDMAN). FTC-required disclosure: this article and the Gleam giveaway are sponsored content.

Can I enter every day’s giveaway with one signup?

No. All giveaways require a separate entry. Subscribing to a list does not enter you automatically; you have to visit and enter each morning and each afternoon individually. There are 200 prizes total over 100 days — one new morning prize and one new afternoon prize each day through July 25, 2026.
