Why the BANISH 12 shotgun suppressor is first-of-its-kind
Three design decisions separate the BANISH 12 from previous-generation shotgun suppressors, and all three come out of the additive-manufacturing process used to build it.
A non-cylindrical housing. A traditional suppressor is a machined tube. The BANISH 12 is printed in titanium, which freed the engineers to design an asymmetric 3.1-by-2.4-inch housing that is wider than it is tall. That keeps the suppressor from obstructing the shotgun’s sightline over the receiver — critical for wing shooting, where you track a bird with your eye, not a rib.
Functioning choke tubes. Shotgun performance depends on pattern control, and pattern control depends on the choke at the muzzle. The BANISH 12 does not replace the choke — it integrates with it.
